My name is Mary, and that’s me practicing a shoulder stand to open up my spine.

I wasn’t always able to this. In fact, a few years ago I could barely touch my toes. I was always athletic and strong, but I wasn’t stretching afterwards and because of this, I was not flexible at all. Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring or do for my first class?

Any mat or large beach towel, plus a bottle of water and comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely.

 

Can I eat before class?

We recommend that eat 60-90 mins before class if you’re hungry, but it should be something light. A yogurt, a smoothie, or a piece of fruit are all great options!

 

Who is this class for?

This class is beneficial for all ages and all skill levels. Children are more than welcome to participate as long as they are not disruptive.

 

I can’t do handstands, will we be doing those crazy things??

Nope, not to worry, our class is perfect for beginners. We will be doing poses and stretches that will eventually help us progress to more challenging poses, and your trainer Mary will help modify any poses you have difficulty with to ensure this class is safe, effective, and fun for all.
